C Chez Vous Implementation Guide

Introduction

Generate labels, electronic trade documents and special services as well as tracking and manifesting.

Preferences

In order to create a Preference for C Chez Vous in the Multi-carrier application please obtain the credentials below directly from the carrier. Typically this information is obtainable from your carrier account manager or your internal logistics team.

C Chez Vous does not have a concept of a test environment. Therefore you will need your production credentials to get started!

Special Services

These are special services offered by the carrier which can be selected either during the Shipment creation, or can be defaulted in the Custom Address Source. In this section you can find the most commonly used services.

Delivery Slot

If the delivery slot was previously selected it can be mapped in the CAS or added in the wizard.

Delivery Instructions

Delivery instructions can be included in the ship request.

Fragile

Fragile items can be indicated.

Dangerous Goods

Dangerous Goods items can be indicated.

Recover Old Equipment

Recovery of old equipment can be indicated.

Products

The following fields are mandatory to be included in the ship request.

Product Category for service levels

C Chez Vous provides three different service levels per product category. The appropriate product category code needs to be passed on the product level.
In case of a multi-package shipment we will use the highest one from the provided categories.

Description

A field to send the product description.

SKU

A field to send the product code.

Custom Address Source mappings for the mandatory product fields.
NOTE: make sure that the Quantity field is mapped correctly at the product level to be able to pull in the CCV product field values.

Label Types

The available label formats can be usually grouped into two types: thermal and non-thermal labels.
