Migration

From 25 January 2025 USPS will decommission their Webtools Tracking API. This means customers using the old USPS-Endicia integration are required to migrate to USPS-Endicia (API). For common questions and issues please see our USPS Webtools Migration FAQ page.

Preferences

In order to create a Preference for Endicia in the Multi-carrier application please obtain the credentials below directly from the carrier. This information is obtainable from your carrier account manager or your internal logistics team.

How to Test

If you don't have your live credentials available during implementation phase, Zenkraft can provide test credentials. Click on the Use Test Account toggle and select the Test Account Country from the dropdown.

Returns

It is possible to create returns shipments with Endicia.

Endicia Pay-on-Use Returns™

Pay-on-Use Returns™ allows you to create return shipments and only get charged for them if the return label is used. To use this service you will need to enable it on your Endicia account.

If the service is enabled, you will be able to add it as a special service.

Special Services

These are special services offered by the carrier which can be selected either during the Shipment creation, or can be defaulted in the Custom Address Source. In this section you can find the most commonly used services.

Certified Mail

This service provides the sender with a mailing receipt and electronic verification that an article was delivered or that a delivery attempt was made. This service is available with the following package and service types:

• Letter - First
• Parcel - First
• Parcel - Priority
• Flat - First
• Flat - Priority

Certified Mail is a checkbox field, which requires TRUE value.

Signature Confirmation

When selecting this service you'll be provided the signature and name of the recipient, the date, time and location of the delivery.

Adult Signature Required/Restricted Delivery

The Adult Signature Required service ensures that the recipient of the mail items is at least 21 years of age or above. The recipient or a resident of the recipient's address is required to show a form of photo identification to the delivery employee for age confirmation.
The Adult Signature Restricted Delivery service requires the signature of the addressee only, who must be 21 years of age or older.
